Christmas
Such a busy time of year, trying to get ready for Christmas. First the decorating, then buying the presents and getting them wrapped. Then sending out the Christmas cards. What ever time is left over is sewing and embroidering. I have been making LED Tea Light covers from Embroidery Garden. They are so cute. I love them all and they are so easy to make. I have an army of them covering the front of my TV Stand. I also bought the Nativty LED Tea Light covers. Can't wait to make them.

First Post
I've just starting my blog today. Since I have never blogged before this will be a learning experience for me.
I learnt how to sew on a White Treadle sewing machine that belonged to my Cousin, which thanks to the generosity of her family now belongs to me. It was originally my Aunt's machine and even had the original manual in Hungarian with it. I also own a Singer Treadle but it is currently in pieces to someday be refinished.
I now love machine embroidery and have been been doing it since 2003. It all started with the purchase of my Husqvarna Viking Rose embroidery machine. I came home and embroidered my first sweatshirt before I had my new owner lessons. It was a simple heart design but I was addicted! Since then I have owned a Designer 1 and now own a Designer SE embroidery machine.
That's all for my first post.
